Latinas in the United States

I was just told that this work will soon be available to the public. I am excited and honored to witness Dr. Virginia Sanchez Korrol's achievement. A historian and veteran of the Puerto Rican community adds her contribution to academia and to our heritage. This publication deserves distribution in the knowledge depositories of the world.

Here is the text from the email I just got:

Dear friends and contributors:

We want to inform you that the three volume publication, Latinas in the United States: A Historical Encyclopedia will be available in April, 2006. For more information go to:
http://www.iupress.indiana.edu/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=22823

We are now working on the Latinas in History interactive project which is an outgrowth of the Latinas in the U.S. Historical Encyclopedia. The Project plans to create a CD Rom and Interactive website to interpret cutting-edge research on Hispanic/Latina women in American history for a pre-collegiate audience.

Sincerely,
